Shimmy up to your special someone with a Burlesque performance taught by Moulin Rouge dancer Kari Cuffe. An experienced performer with the famed Paris cabaret, Kari has danced on stages around the world. Her saucy style is just the perfect flavor for a Valentine’s dance to surprise and to seduce.

TAP WORKSHOPS
with Hanna & Mattias

Even newbies to tap will enjoy how complex rhythms can be built from simple steps. Taught by Hanna, you can tap forth without fear in her fun and encouraging class. An experienced performer, Hanna will show you how it ain't what you do , its the way that you do it that counts.

Get ready to sweat and work your feet with Mattias as he gives you an ol’ skool Tap workout! Mattias specialises in the style and rhythms of the Tap masters from the 1930s and his work has been seen on TV, stages and dance floors around the world.
Workshops will be conducted at Jitterbugs Swingapore, #B1-08 The Cathay. There will be no Tap 1 class on Tuesday and Tap 3 class on Thursday.

Jordan Frisbee and Tatiana Mollman have been dancing together for more than 10 years, winning multiple awards for their dancing, and for promoting West Coast Swing worldwide. As two of the most popular West Coast Swing instructors in the world, they travel extensively, 48 out of 52 weekends per year, teaching and performing at international events and inspiring thousands of dancers the world over.
If you have never taken a West Coast Swing (WCS) class before but have always wanted to try a partner dance, you too can be part of Swingvitation. To help you get a head start, we're providing the Swingvitation Intensive - WCS classes at Jitterbugs Swingapore and Mosaic Dance, 7 days a week.
The Swingvitation Intensive is a special WCS programme designed to prepare even complete beginners to take classes from the pros when they arrive on our shores. From mid Oct 2011, participants will be entitled to take WCS classes at Jitterbugs Swingapore and Mosaic Dance in the run up to the Swingvitation weekend, with classes running 7 days a week. Now in it's 11th year, SEA Jam brings you new programming, new venues and new ideas to keep your Lindy Hop fresh! Even though it's been around for nearly 100 years, Lindy Hop keeps relevant by always innovating and being creative.
Frankie Manning was a Lindy Hopper in the 1930s and during the 1980s till 2005 when he passed away, he was still teaching, creating and inspiring. Frankie believed that while there was a clear essence of Lindy Hop, the dance should always be creative and innovative.

We have always had the best instructors from around the world and this year, we have Mattias Lundmark and Hanna Zetterman from Sweden, as well as Todd Yannacone and Ramona Staffeld.
These incredible dancers have always looked to the origins of Lindy Hop to ground their fundamentals and from there, they have added their own individual flavour and distinct personalities. They will share their secrets and philosophies so that we can be inspired to keep our dancing fresh too.
