Studio Policy
1. Students must register and pay all class fees before the class
begins.
2. 8-Week Courses
- For maximum dance-ability, some classes require early registration
and advance payment of the cost of the entire course.
- No replacement class or refund will be made for any class missed.
- A S$20 administrative fee will be applied per change per person for cancellation or any changes made with more than 7 days notice prior to the date of commencement.
- A S$40 administrative fee will be applied per change per person for cancellation or any changes made with less than 7 days notice prior to the date of commencement.
- The course fee is forfeit if no notice is given of non-attendance.
3. Dance Cards:
- Valid for use on all classes on our regular schedule, except for Holistic classes.
- Non-transferable.
- Valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
- No refunds will be made, whether in whole or in part for any unused portion of a dance card.
- Cannot be used as payment for any workshop or special events.
4. Please be aware that there are risks of injury associated with all
forms of dance or exercise. When you sign up to do a course or class with Jitterbugs Swingapore, you assume all such risks and agree that Jitterbugs Swingapore will not be responsible in any way for any such injury you may suffer or a result of the classes and / or any other such events conducted at / by Jitterbugs Swingapore.
5. Jitterbugs Swingapore is not liable for any loss of belongings. All lost and found items will be kept for one month and then donated to charity.
7. Jitterbugs Swingapore reserves the right to amend the schedule without prior notice.
APPLICABLE LAW
This site is created and controlled by Jitterbugs Swingapore in the Republic of Singapore. As such, the laws of the Republic of Singapore will govern these disclaimers, terms, and conditions, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. We reserve the right to make changes to our site and these disclaimers, terms, and conditions at any time.
PRIVACY POLICY
Jitterbugs Swingapore will not disclose your e-mail address or other specific personal information (e.g. name, address, age) in a manner that may reveal your identity. Your personal information (e.g. age, gender) and product preferences may be used to create personalized content, services, and advertising and Jitterbugs Swingapore may use such information to create anonymous reports which do not contain any personally identifiable information. Jitterbugs Swingapore may elect to electronically monitor the Store and may disclose any communication to satisfy any law, regulation, or government request; if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate the Store; or to protect the rights or property of Jitterbugs Swingapore.
TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective unless and until terminated by Jitterbugs Swingapore. Jitterbugs Swingapore may terminate this Agreement at any time and without notice, and accordingly deny you access to the Store, if, in Jitterbugs Swingapore's sole discretion, you fail to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement. Upon any termination of this Agreement, you must promptly destroy all materials downloaded or otherwise acquired from the Store, as well as all copies of such materials, whether made under the terms of this Agreement or otherwise.
DISCLAIMER
THIS STORE AND ALL CONTENTS OF THE STORE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE, BY YOUR USE OF THE STORE, THAT YOUR USE OF THE STORE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK, THAT YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ALL NECESSARY SERVICING OR REPAIRS OF ANY EQUIPMENT YOU USE IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OUR STORE, AND THAT JITTERBUGS SWINGAPORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THIS STORE. JITTERBUGS SWINGAPORE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THIS STORE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, NOR DOES JITTERBUGS SWINGAPORE REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS STORE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Jitterbugs Swingapore harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Store. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
MISCELLANEOUS
This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to any conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of the Republic of Singapore. This Agreement and the terms and conditions of your use of the Store may be changed at any time. Jitterbugs Swingapore may alter, add to, delete, move or otherwise modify, all or any part of the Store.
