Programmes
At Jitterbugs Swingapore, we provide opportunities for dancers to develop their technique and styles. Currently, we have 2 programmes, one for adults and one for kids. If you are interested in these programmes, come around to the studio and talk to us!
The Developing Artiste Programme (DAP) is an intensive programme for talented dancers age 17 years and above. If your idea of fun is spending every evening and weekend sweating it on the dance floor, you might want to audition for the Jitterbugs Swingapore Developing Artiste Programme. Offering 2 tracks of a 12-month or 24-month period of classes in all our dance forms, the programme aims to groom aspiring dancers for a professional career in dance.
The aim of the programme is to increase the standard of professional performance dance in Singapore to a level comparable to the rest of the world. This will be achieved with consistency, constancy and character.
All successful applicants will benefit from an all-round technical training programme in Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballet, as well as the partner-dances the studio offers. In addition, there will be specialized industry classes offered in Professional Stage Make Up, Production and Performance Skills.
Students are also provided with a network of physical and emotional support. They are educated in not only the physical rudiments of dance, but also the psychological demands of a highly competitive industry.
Places in the DAP will be offered at a fee of S$300 per 3-month term (S$1,200 per programme year).

The Talent Avenue Kids Performance Programme (KPP) is a specially tailored intensive
12-month programme for talented dancers age 6 to 12 years.
The aim of the programme is to develop versatile young dancers by providing sound technical foundation in all forms of dance and a platform to showcase their talent.
Successful applicants will benefit from an all-round technical training programme in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. In addition, there will be specialized classes offered in Stage Make Up and Performance Skills, including Acrobatics as an option.
Students are also provided with a network of physical and emotional support.
Successful applicants will pay subsidised fees for classes as follows:

Pre-requisites:
Your child only needs a strong desire to dance and perform. Previous dance experience will be an advantage but is not necessary. For persons from age 7 to 12 years.
If your child is interested in the KPP, he / she has to come prepared to the auditions with a one-minute solo dance item of any genre, performed to music of their choice.
