MS EMILIA KLEIN

Teacher, Choreographer

The gift of dance reaches far beyond technique, shaping self-expression, community, and discipline. I am excited to guide aspiring young dancers as they discover this gift and grow through movement.

Emilia began her dance training at the age of five, where she discovered a passion for Modern Jazz, Tap, and Classical Ballet at Jitterbugs Swingapore. Under the guidance of her teachers, she developed a strong technical foundation while also gaining valuable insight into artistic expression, discipline, and character development. In 2023, Emilia successfully completed the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) graded syllabuses in Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary, as well as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Advanced 1 Ballet Examination.

With a background in competitive dance from a young age, Emilia underwent rigorous training and participated in numerous regional competitions, including the CSTD Regional Competition Singapore, Get The Beat Singapore, and Masterpiece International Ballet Competition. Her commitment to dance extended into her academic journey through Direct School Admission (DSA) into Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (SCGS) Secondary. During her four years at SCGS, Emilia received intensive Ballet training under Ms Vanessa Harijanto and Ms Diana Lau, as well as Chinese Dance training from instructors affiliated with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). She also represented SCGS at the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) in both Ballet and Chinese Dance. In 2024, Emilia competed in the CSTD Asia Pacific Dance Competition in Bangkok, where she was awarded First Place in the Modern Championship category.

Emilia began her teaching journey at the age of thirteen as an assistant teacher under Ms Tiffany Wrightson. This experience ignited her passion for dance education. She has since completed her CSTD Modern Jazz Teaching Certificate and is on track to complete her CSTD Tap Teaching Certificate in 2026.

Having grown up in the nurturing environment of Jitterbugs Swingapore, Emilia is deeply inspired to give back to the community that shaped her as a dancer. She is dedicated to guiding students with care and enthusiasm, fostering both technical excellence and personal growth, and supporting each student in reaching their fullest potential in dance and beyond.
