MS EMMA LIM
I believe that teaching is a two-way street — I can’t wait to share my knowledge with my students whilst picking up new skills that they will teach me!
Emma started dancing at the young age of three and has been dancing with Jitterbugs Swingapore® for the past 10 years. She joined Modern Dance in secondary school under the guidance of local company Frontier Danceland’s Low Mei Yoke. Additionally, she also became a PULSE Scholar with Frontier Danceland in 2017.
Under the guidance of Ms Tiffany Wrightson, Emma has completed the CSTD Tap and Modern Jazz Syllabus. Furthermore, she has also completed the CSTD Classical Ballet Syllabus along with the CSTD Contemporary Syllabus under Ms Shanti Gomes and Ms Shermaine Heng.
Emma has performed for a large variety of events, including competing for Get The Beat, Asia Pacific Dance Competition and CSTD’s annual regional dance competition. Outside of Jitterbugs, Emma has also performed for the opening of the National Gallery, Jerome Bel’s GALA, and most recently, Lim Boon Keng — The Musical.
Emma has always had a flair for the Song & Dance genre, and she looks forward to sharing her passion with the younger dancers around her.
