MS TIFFANY WRIGHTSON
Teaching is not my job, it’s my passion. I care deeply for each and every child I have the opportunity to train as a dancer and mentor as a person.
Since commencing dance classes at the age of three, Tiffany knew she was passionate about dance education. Today, she is armed with the experience and knowledge to make her one of the most outstanding instructors in the region. Tiffany holds CSTD Teaching Diploma’s in Modern Jazz, Tapping, Theatrical and Classical Ballet. She also holds certification in Mat Based Pilates Instruction, AcrobaticArts Instruction and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). In 2013, Tiffany was appointed as CSTD’s first International Grade Examiner and she became a Full International Examiner with the society in 2019.
Tiffany has trained extensively in Musical Theatre, both in Perth, Australia (Certificate II in Music Theatre – Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Edith Cowan University), and New York City, USA (Certificate in Professional Performance – American Musical and Dramatic Academy). Professional performance credits include West Side Story (USA), White Christmas (USA), Anything Goes (USA), Times Square – The Musical (USA), The Tooth Fairy (Singapore), and a variety of musical & cabaret shows internationally.
From 2008 – 2014, Tiffany taught at LaSalle College of the Arts (SIA). She trained the Bachelor of Music Theatre (Hons) students in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Song & Dance. Choreographic credits at LaSalle include musical productions Boys From Syracuse and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, in addition to multiple industry showcases.
Tiffany joined Jitterbugs Swingapore® as a teacher and choreographer in 2009, and was appointed Directorship in 2014. Over the past decade, Tiffany has worked to create a successful dance education program that aims to develop technique and performance quality, whilst instilling confidence and passion in young dancers
